  1. Hey Jon! I’m doing a physics example for the Corona SDK and your Inn is perfect for it! I wouldn’t distribute it in any finished app, I’m just after your permission to post some videos of me building physics responding walls for your inn, and maybe to remove the furniture from it. Let me know if you’re amenable to this, it’s a really great map and I want to show folks what you can do with the Corona Game Framework on the iPad!!!

  2. Understood completely Jon! That’s why I asked in the first place. In that case, I’ll make do with the Storm Watch Inn, another fantastic map! Thanks for the link, and I’ll letcha see what I come up with. I’m also in the process of reaching out to cartographersguild.com to tap some of their awesome resources.

BTW, just so you know, the Ugly Harpy led me to my latest programming endeavour, an iPad battlemap skirmish game, along with a physics editor. An inspiration, truly! Thank you for your great work!

  3. Well not at the end result, but over the weekend I slapped together a simple iPad editor that will allow a user to ‘trace’ physics objects over an existing graphic battlemap. My thoughts were to allow anyone to download a PNG,JPG, etc. into the app, and get physics working. Currently, I’m in the process of asking around for some monster/hero tokens to place on the game board for use in prototyping, you have any of those available for my demo use? Otherwise there’s a great deal of free tokens out there, I found http://rpgvirtualtabletop.wikidot.com/tokens which is great as it explains the licensing for each token pack too.

Well, here’s a video of my work so far:

As not to clog up your comment area, did you wanna stay in the loop via email? Mine is mario dot roberti at gmail dot com so lemme know!

  4. Excellent! I already emailed Devin last night to get permission to use some of his tokens as chance would have it! We’ll continue via email then. Glad to have all the input I can get.

    Best,
    Mario
